Having experienced the transformative power of coaching conversations and their impact on enabling me to live a purposeful and intentional life, I am inspired to embark on the journey of becoming a coach myself. I am dedicated to inspiring and supporting others in maximising their impact and life satisfaction by gaining clarity and realising their purpose in both work and life. With over 7 years of experience in HR across various industries, including the social sector, tech industry, and consulting, I also bring diverse perspectives to the table.
I see coaching as a journey where my coachee and I embark together into the deeper unknown, travelling through each coaching conversation. As a coach, I uphold ACE values: Authentic, Courage, and Empathy. These values guide how I show up in my coaching conversations, aiming to ACE the issues my clients are striving to overcome. My clients often describe me as a great listener who can read between the lines and challenge them with difficult questions when necessary. They appreciate the safe space I provide, allowing them to be themselves and gain clarity on the issues they face.
I spent my early career teaching in a high-need secondary school through the Teach For Malaysia Fellowship program, a member of the Teach For All Global Education Network. Following this, I transitioned into the HR industry, working as an HR practitioner for 6 years across various sectors, including nonprofits, e-commerce and the tech industry. I also gained valuable experience as an HR consultant, helping MNCs in Southeast Asia address people and culture challenges to achieve higher performance. Currently, I serve as the Coach Experience Lead at Y Coaching Academy, where I train, drive, and grow a supportive, driven community of next-generation coaches with the mission of spreading the impact of coaching to more people.
